this movie is fantastic, def not what I was expecting. She lost the ability to play physical tennis so she started playing mental tennis, crazy can’t wait to rewatch

notes below
------------------------
- that fisheye shot of the court was cool.

- the score is really good, the way it came in was so cool.

- I like where the tv volume is sitting in the mix.

- I love that the film has been mostly silent up until this point, very quiet and contemplative.

- I like that you hear spider-verse starting in the background lol.

- I like how naturalistic the dialogue is, when they are eating there is such a realism to it.

- I'm loving these birds eye views of the games, much tension many wows.

- I love the piano in this scene on the beach.

- I love the way the dialogue bounces around in this scene in the bedroom, it's like music, the way they interrupt each other, it's so great.

- Zendaya is really good in this, the subtle things that she is doing are really working, there is this nervousness but confidence that is protruding through this flashback.

- the music is going so hard dude, like I thought I might tier of the cue on it but it's working for me.

- loving Josh O'Connor in this, doing some great acting of resentment but subtle, same for Mike Faist, the subtility of resentment that lingers in these flashbacks

- like this shot of them kissing next to the car.

- love the way that this film slowly revealed information, we start with none and end with all we need to know, this atlanta reveal is big, recontextualizes a lot on a rewatch

- why does he compare her to Jesus in this moment? what do you think he really means?

- that red light is so good.

- I don't think we needed the slow mo on him doing the action, more of his reaction? more of Tashi's reaction took to long?

- that final set is really freaking good, the score and the tension, the specticle they all come clashing together
