a bit at odds with this one, don't know how I feel, on one hand it has some pretty good editing and a great original score with actors who comedic chops carry some scenes but on the other hand it feels a bit and this is going to sound a bit negative and I don't mean it in this way but it's just a movie that I could flick on in the background and do a puzzle to which is cool, it's not bad and it's spectacular, I'm not going to turn this on if I am looking for a deep philosophical movie about life but who would turn on Mean Girls for that, there are some good things about this and some bad but mostly positive good things and that's great!

the editing was very nice in the film, but specially the Momentary editing, I like the scene to scene flow of the film, the way we move from scene to scene, or shot to shot is very nice but specifically the shot to shot was very well done in a couple of scene's like the cafeteria scene, the phone call scene which is my favorite in the film and a couple other places, it made the shot to shot fill so cohesive and nice to look at as it moved across the screen.

I also really like the original composition for the film, in particular there is a scene where there is this low buzzing or humming sound and that was infection and such a nice little detail, the score has got so much personality as it dances in the background, coming in at crucial scenes.

the actors for this were pretty great specifically Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Tim Meadows, Lizzy Caplan, they all do pretty great work here in the roles and with the material that they are given! so yay! good job!

the camera work is a bit bland in my opinion as it shoots kind of like every other high school teen drama but when it does make a transition like the few times it goes to a Dutch angle it is very purposeful and the smoothness of that transition is very well done, so that was very cool. other than that the cinematography doesn't hinder the film at all it's just kind of meh like it's not bad and it's not stellar it's fine and that is okay.
