The Rat Catcher (2023)

this is my least favorite of the shorts released but it is still a wonderful short, the animation that is done on the rat looks great and I wish they had done more with it, I loved the makeup and hairstyle for this short they did a great job, while the camera was mostly static the times when it moved felt purposeful and like they wanted you to feel uncomfortable
I say again, gosh dang I love movies.

- I love the audio design on the sewer part.
- my favirate little detail of all teh shorts is how the actors looka tht enarrator and then around almost purposefylly trying to avoid looking at the camera but they are catching a hint or glimpse of it.
- I like that he describes the rat catcher's look and emotions from a distance and you can kind of seeing the rat catcher displaying these looks.
- the restraint to show the voilacne but not the resistatnce to describe it, it's almost better than like a pg-13 movie trying to avoid the violence.
- the animation on the rat looks so great and cool, he moves great and smooth.
- nice lighting change here and the flashlight is smart to use here becasue the shadows are so harsh, I like how everyone kind of has an evil look to everyone.
- why is the rat catcher so insistant on proving himself to the men? he is disappotined when eh doesn't get the mens approval.
- the makeup and hairstyle team killed it in this short!!
