The Wild Robot (2024)

I do think that this film is really well made, I think visually it’s very pretty and visually stunning, I think that Lupitia kills it in the roll of ROZ, brings so much emotion to a character that is suppose to be lifeless, I think that Kit sounds so similar to Steven Yeun that it confuses me, I think that the story works and makes sense and I think that all the emotional beats are there and work well but that being said I don’t think this thing works for me personally and I am not sure why, when I first saw it in theaters I was left underwhelmed I don’t know if it was from my expectations being to high or if I was just truly underwhelmed.
With this rewatch I think it submits my rating a bit and kind of proves that I was left feeling underwhelmed maybe I’ll rewatch it again in the future and it will change my opinion but for now I’m bumping this down.
