if you haven’t seen it do yourself a service and watch it.. great movie, great score.. great all around for sure..

- a really good opening hook, love that it shows the mountains gives us the scope of what’s about to play out the dread is kind of creeping in!

- the pacing in this is a little weird, it feels like it’s dragging a bit and then towards the end it picks up quickly.. but that didn’t bother me at all just something I noticed a bit.

- the audio cutting out every time we get a photo click is a really nice touch - great audio design - wish it was nominated for sound design for sure it was amazing all the way through. Mention specifically when they get buried in the snow and how the audio completely cuts out, and then is muffled with snow moving across the microphone excellent detail.

- the crash is brutal..  like horror movie brutal so raw.. devastating.. haunting..

- the scene where Numa dies is haunting.. and that’s all I got to say about that..

- the makeup department department did a fantastic job such fine details in this matter greatly, watching as they slowly get skinny and grow facial hair along with scabs and wounds and such growing flaking off dead skin frozen and dried lips eyes hair.. truly a marvel to look at.

- cinematography is wonderful there is a very cold distance from the camera that lingers purposefully, truly wonderful to look at to experience the light is dynamic when it absolutely can and needs to be even though most of its shot in sun light it still gives purpose.

- every actor in this movie did a damn good job. A great job..

This movie is hauntingly and devastatingly beautiful, leaving you speechless right at the end, it’s purposeful and amazing. Truly a marvel and a feat should have been nominated for more Oscar’s upset with myself I put off watching it for as long as I did.. great film. Great movie.
